Since 2012, I've been speaking publicly. I also taught social-emotional learning (SEL) throughout Southern California at high schools, after school programs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Penny Lane Centers, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and Los Angeles Central Juvenile Hall for six years. 

 

I give workshops and presentations for colleges, conferences, and organizations across the United States to help advance their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts.

 

I'm a PFLAG Los Angeles board member and since 2015, I've been part of the Los Angeles Speakers Bureau.

 

In 2017, I gave my first TEDx talk called, What Children Learn from the Things We Don't Say. Which is used for educational and training purposes across the U.S., and has even been translated into Portuguese for a popular parenting site in Brazil. 

 

I'm a regular guest on popular podcasts speaking about everything from spirituality, LGBTQ advocacy, my journey to sobriety, mental health, personal development, and the principles of my book, Raising LGBTQ Allies.
